If your travels take you along Walden Avenue in Lancaster, you'll want to plan some extra time next week.
Construction is set to begin on a project to reconstruct the intersection of Walden and Central Avenues.
As a result, on Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 24 from 9am-3pm, drivers can expect lane closures on Walden between Edward Street and Embry Place, and on Central Avenue between Hinchey and Markey.
The State DOT is also reminding drivers that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
