According to the organization, 48 million, including one in five children, are unsure where their next mean is coming from. Studies have shown that lack of adequate nutrition affects cognitive and behavioral development in chidlren.

Last year, over 71 million pounds of food was collected by Postal carriers nationally, feeding an estimated 30 million people. Over it's 23 year history, this food drive has collected over one billion pounds of food.

To take part, you just need to leave a non-perishable food donation in a bag by the mailbox Saturday, May 14. The Postal carrier will do the rest.
