The Erie County SPCA is taking care of six puppies that were rescued from a garbage can.
The SPCA says the puppies were brought in Friday morning after being found in Buffalo. They are now being watched over by a dog who recently gave birth to two pups of her own.
The pups will soon be up for adoption.
