Sources tell 7 Eyewitness News that the gray Ford SUV that Gabriele Ballowe was driving the night she hit and killed Barry Moss in December 2013 has been returned to her family.
The case is closed after State Supreme Court Justice Christopher Burns sentenced Ballowe to one year behind bars for leaving the scene.
Prosecutors say Ballowe later tried to have the SUV repaired.
Ballowe was originally charged with manslaughter in the death of Moss, but the charge was later dismissed.
