Holiday Valley in Ellicottville saw its first flurries of snow today on the mountain.
The resort took this picture, where you can just make out flakes of snow coming down by the chair lift.
Since it's still relatively warm out - don't expect the resort to be opening up for the season just yet, though.
However, the snowboarding and skiing season is technically already underway; Loveland Pass mountain in Colorado became the first on the continent to open its trails as of yesterday. This marked the end to a 131-day wait, since Arapahoe Basin became the final resort to close down last season.
At Holiday Valley here in Western New York, the target opening day for the 2016-2017 season is November 25th.
