NEW YORK - The SnoHub mobile app will offer on-demand snow clearing services for home owners and contractors.
It's essentially Uber for snow plows. The app uses technology to connect customers with snow removal contractors in under 10 minutes. SnoHub will tell homeowners their contractor's ETA as well as show them pictures of the driver.
The plower will take photos and measurements of the snow's depth. When the job is done, another set of pictures are taken and sent to homeowners to confirm the job is done.
Service prices start at $59 for a base of six-inches of snow. The app can be downloaded for free on iPhone and Andriod.
SnoHub already has 16,000 downloads this season, and creator James Albis, plans to expand across the entire country by the winter of 2018-2019.
