For anyone who waited to leave the city of Buffalo, Wednesday night, the sound of tires spinning might be a familiar one.

One judge stayed late, to prepare for full day of court, Thursday. His car was plowed in on West Eagle Street in downtown Buffalo. Pushing didn’t do the trick. Luckily, a pickup drove by with a set of chains. It did the trick.
There were plenty of similar stories like this all around western New York, as blizzard-like conditions brought traffic to a standstill.
