We may be coming off a record breaking week of sizzing September temperatures, but that doesn't matter when it comes to parking rules in Tonawanda.
Overnight winter parking restrictions take effect Sunday. That means no parking is allowed on any streets or city lots in Tonawanda from 2 a.m. until 6 a.m. through March 31st.
Violators will be ticketed.
Drivers in the Town of Tonawanda get to enjoy parking freedom for one more month. The winter parking ban there doesn't take effect until November 1st.
