It looks unbelievable, but snow really did take out this pair of French doors at a home in Cheektowaga on Tuesday.
Chrissy Gritzke Hazard tells 7 Eyewitness News that she, her husband, their five children and three of their friends were in the upstairs of her home around 6 p.m. on North Seine Drive when everyone heard a loud "thump."

Chrissy says their initial concern was a roof collapse, but upon rushing down the stairs they saw another unwelcome sight: French doors ripped off the wall and a mountain of snow.
Town of Tonawanda Sheridan Park District #4 firefighters walked to Chrissy's home to check on her family and South Line Fire District dispatched a payloader to clear a path to her home. But by the time firefighters arrived, she and her family had cleaned up the mess.
Chrissy and her family were invited to stay at South Line Fire District, but with a makeshift barrier in place, they decided to stick it out.
No one was hurt in the collapse.
