From Fredonia, to Gowanda, to Dayton, as the snow falls in the Southern Tier, road conditions continue to worsen.
"The roads are pretty much nothing but ice," said Peter Huber.
Road crews have spent the day salting and clearing snow on the main roads, but many side streets still need attention.
Joseph Tyler has been shoveling since he got home from work Thursday night. He says it's impossible to keep up with the amount of snow that's falling at his home in Dayton.
"I left home at 5:00 this morning, and when I got home at 6:00 this evening I had two feet of snow," he said.
It was slick road conditions that caused a school bus to go off the road in Dayton earlier Thursday afternoon. Although 31 students were on board, no one was injured.
