Skiing and snowboarding is back in Western New York. Friday, Holiday Valley started their chairlifts for the first time this season.
“It's pretty gnarly today, actually. The weather looked good. We gotta send it,” said Anthony Novoa, from North Collins.
The resort will be open all weekend, but closed on Monday and Tuesday.
“We'll be making snow again hopefully on Wednesday,” said Jane Eshbaugh, with Holiday Valley.
A post on Kissing Bridge’s Facebook reads “not long now.” With a picture of snow guns making snow.
