GLENWOOD, N.Y. (WKBW) - For Kissing Bridge the conditions early on in November are looking up from last year's warm winter. Snowmaking was something they couldn't do nearly enough last year on the slopes.
Andrew Minier, a veteran snow-maker is taking advantage of a 22-degree day so early in the season. He's hoping to get a jump-start on opening up the slopes at Kissing Bridge.
Last year, they had to wait until December 16 to open, which left them with only 90 days all season. Normally Kissing Bridge tries to stay open at least 100 days out of the year.
Minier knows this type of weather, this early on will be great for business as it gets people in the mood to ski.
