A Silver Alert has been canceled for a Cheektowaga man.
The Cheektowaga Police Department issued an alert for 58-year-old Eugueni N. Kovatchev Monday night, reporting he suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or related cognitive disorders. The alert was canceled at 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Kovatchev is described as a white male, 5-foot-6 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds. Police say he was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hat and green pants.
Police say Kovatchev does not drive, but is known to take the bus and try to get to Canada.
