Silo to silo: soaring through Buffalo on a new zip line

and last updated

At 110 feet high, the Labatt Blue silos offer a unique view of Lake Erie and the city of Buffalo. Now, you can take advantage of that view while whizzing across the open sky on a new zip line course at Buffalo RiverWorks.

The course starts at the top of the Labatt Blue six-pack and traverses back and forth between silos along the Buffalo river. There are four zips and an "Indiana Jones style" rope bridge. The course generally takes an hour or less to complete.

The zip lines are open right now, weather permitting. RiverWorks won't take anybody on the course unless temperatures are above 32 degrees Farenheit and winds are less than 20 mph.

Anyone interested in making a reservation or being placed on a waiting list should email Matt Prime at mprime@buffaloriverworks.com. The course costs $40 per person.
