A group of Pembroke High School basketball players took to the court for a good cause.
Friday, the girls presented Roswell Park Cancer Institute with a check for over $10,000.
That money was raised during the team's annual "Shooting For a Cure" event, a fundraising basketball game and halftime ceremony honoring cancer survivors.
Since the events inception five years ago, the team has raised $40,000 for Roswell.
