The Erie County Sheriff's office is laying out plans to "arrest cancer," as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Sheriff Timothy Howard unveiled a new pink-striped patrol car in front of New Era field, where it will be parked during the Bills' game on Sunday. The Sheriff's Office says this car will be assigned to a lot of different districts, and will be seen by thousands of people across Erie County.

The graphics were designed, made, and put on by the VSP Graphic Group, who donated its time, the cost of labor and materials for the project, according to the Sheriff's office.

Sheriff Howard also announced the "No Shave Challenge," which will be going on throughout the month of November. As part of the challenge, Road Patrol, Jail Management Deputies and Corrections Officers are going to be allowed to grow out beards, if they make a $25 dollar donation to benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

The unions representing those officers have all pledged to match those donations too.
