The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office is now investigating what caused a head-on crash that left one woman dead.

Deputies responded to the two-car crash on Route 20 in the Town of Ripley around 8:00 Sunday night. Investigators say 22-year-old Madison Dunlap of Ripley died at the scene.

The sheriff's office says the driver of the other car, Kim Robbins from Fredonia, could face charges pending the investigation.
