The Erie County Sheriff's office responded to a call from a concerned mother who reported an encounter her 13-year-old daughter had with an older white male driving a white Explorer on Monday afternoon.
The daughter was walking her bicycle along Huth Road in the Grand Island when an older white male stopped and offered her a ride.
The girl rejected the offer multiple times and the man left heading westbound on Huth Road.
The mother told police her daughter described the subject as an older white male with a "mostly" white beard. He was driving a newer model Ford Explorer.
