The Niagara County Sheriff's Office has ended a "shelter in place" alert for a neighborhood in the Village of Lewiston, after a man barricaded himself in a home on Plain Street in the village.
That man is now in police custody.
The Lewiston Police Department tells 7 Eyewitness News it was first called to the home on the 400 block on Plain Street around 7:50 a.m.
