New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is looking into a sharp spike in the price of a drug called Naloxone.

The drug is used by law enforcement officials to help treat victims of heroin overdoses. The pharmaceutical company that makes it has raised the price more than 130-percent in recent months.

The State Attorney General has sent a letter to the company asking for an explanation.
