University Police at SUNY Buffalo State are now investigating a reported sexual assault.
According to the school's website, the reported assault happened late Sunday night when a female student went to visit the male suspect's apartment.
University Police are said to be investigating in close consultation with the District Attorney's Office.
Late last year the college saw a spike in violent crime.
