A registered sex offender from Ashville was arrested Thursday for breaking parole by using Facebook.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office says Joshua Glover, 35, is a level three registered sex offender who failed to register or notify the sex offender registry of a change. This is a class E felony charge.
Deputies say he has also been using a Facebook account since August, a violation of the sex offender registry act and the conditions of his parole.
According to officials, Glover has been held in the Chautauqua County Jail before for a parole violation.
The Sheriff's Office has filed a warrant as a detainer at the jail - a request for Glover to be held without bail unless the detainer is lifted.
