A Buffalo man who stalked and raped women on the city's west side will spend more than a decade behind bars.

State Supreme Court Justice Penny Wolfgang sentenced Emmanuel Jenkins, 30, to 15 years to life in prison Tuesday. Jenkins pleaded guilty in March to three counts of predatory sexual assault, two counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree, one count of first-degree rape and two counts of aggravated sexual abuse.

Jenkins stalked his victims in the Grant-Ferry neighborhood in the summer of 2015 and used drugs to lured them into vacant buildings, according to prosecutors. Once inside, he forced them by knife-point to perform sex acts over the course of several hours.

“Thanks to the bravery of the women who came forward, a sexual predator is no longer on the streets,” said Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael Flaherty.  “We want sexual assault victims to know our office is here to support you and will seek justice for you.”
