It's prom not how you may know it. More than 400 prom-goers took to Antonio's Banquet and Conference Center in Niagara Falls to dance the afternoon away, while meeting new friends.
About half of those that attended were teenagers hailing for several local high schools. The event pairs a teen with a senior for the afternoon where they can learn more about each other.
The afternoon was filled with lots of dancing, a snack table, photo booth, lunch and more. The Health Association of Niagara County, better known as HANCI, has spearheaded this free event for almost 20 years.
"It's an intergenerational "Senior Prom." It brings together the young and the old," HANCI Chairwoman Mary Ricciardi said.
