Police at Buffalo State are investigating a report of a strong arm robbery on campus. This comes just days after a report of an armed robbery at the school.
In a statement, police say Tuesday's robbery was targeted and is unrelated to last week’s robbery, and does not present an on-going threat to the campus community.
Police say around 2:15 p.m., a student reported that he and another individual were robbed while in a room in Porter Hall.
Investigators report that two suspects, along with three accomplices, took both the students' cell phones and backpacks.
No weapon was displayed during the incident and no injuries are reported.
Buffalo State police describe the two primary suspects as follows:
- Suspect 1 is a black male, 18-22 years of age, 5’8” tall, 170 pounds, wearing an olive green sweat suit;
- Suspect 2 is a black male 18-22 years of age, average height and weight, wearing a dark jacket and pants, and tan boots.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the University Police anonymous tip line at (716) 878-3166 or the campus UPD phone number at (716) 878-6333.
