Buffalo police are looking for the driver of a blue or purple pick up truck, believed to have approached a girl at a bus stop.

Wednesday morning, about 7:30 a.m., police say the driver approached an 11-year-old student at the corner of William and Central.

The driver is described as a white man with blonde hair, wearing construction clothing.  The girl told police she thought the driver was tall.

According to police, the driver called the girl to the truck and offered her candy.

Police say the truck might be a Chevy, though it's unclear what model.

These pictures were provided by Buffalo police.  It's unclear if they came from city or private surveillance cameras.  We don't know where this camera is located or what direction the truck is going.

It does not appear the girl was harmed.

If you have any information call Buffalo police.
