Two rescued from Niagara Falls gorge

UPDATE: Two people were rescued this morning. There's no word on their condition at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY: A search and rescue operation is underway on the Canadian side of the Niagara Gorge.

New York State Parks Police say someone went into the gorge about 11:00 Sunday night.

Police say a security guard heard someone calling for help and then notified police.

State Parks Police say Niagara Parks Police in Ontario is handling the search and rescue.  Parks police officers were helping in the search.

Niagara Parks Police has not released any information about this operation.

Officers have not said if they've been able to find this person.
