A woman operating a school bus for a Western New York school's field trip is accused by deputies of stealing a purse at the Chestnut Ridge Casino.

Detectives with the Erie County Sheriff's Office were looking into the stolen purse, when they found it for sale online. They contacted Renee Krohn about the sale, and deputies say she admitted to stealing the purse. Krohn told the investigators the theft happened during the school field trip.

Krohn was charged with peit larceny, a misdemeanor, and released with an appearance ticket to return to Orchard Park Town Court.
