A school bus was stopped at the intersection of Berg and Orchard Park Roads in the Town of West Seneca when a vehicle hit the bus from behind.
There were 35 students on board and 11 suffered minor injures.
"We had a team of four doctors from the Erie County response unit which was great," said Dr. Mark Crawford the Superintendent of the West Seneca School District. "They evaluated the children and just as a precaution they decided to send 11 (to the hospital) and another child had a hurt wrist."
The students were on their way to Allendale Elementary. Those who were medically cleared were able to go to school.
