Santa returns to Chestnut Ridge this weekend

There may not be snow on the ground, but that won’t stop Santa from landing his sleigh in Orchard Park this weekend.

County Executive Mark Poloncarz was on hand Thursday morning to welcome Santa to Chestnut Ridge Park. The big man in red will be available this Saturday and Sunday from 11-3p.m. for children to visit.

There will also be a lot of other fun family activities, including hayrides, arts and crafts, marshmallow roasting, woodcutting and the Casino’s concession stand will be open for food and drinks. Obviously, the toboggan runs and sledding hill will be closed.

If you’re stopping by Santa Land, don’t forget to drop off a new, unwrapped toy to brighten a child’s holiday through Toys for Tots.
