Donald C. Blocher, 49, of Salamanca was arrested Friday afternoon around 2:00 p.m.
Blocher is charged with grand larceny after allegedly exploited an 80-year-old elderly person for $10,000, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say Blocher used the money to purchase a motorcycle for himself.
He was placed in Little Valley jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail. Blocher is set to reappear on Monday.
