The first day back to school after a long holiday was delayed for students entering the Stanley Makowski Early Childhood Center on Jefferson Avenue, Tuesday morning.

Buffalo Police say a 5th grader was rumored to have made a threat.

The child is not a student at the school.

The delay was due to police searching the building.

The incident is now a police matter.

Things are back to normal at the school.
