Rt. 5 has re-opened in the Town of Evans after an accident.
The accident, which closed Rt. 5 between Sweetland Road and Backus Road, involved a vehicle that was towing a boat and fuel spilled all over the road.
The accident happened around 3:50pm. The roadway re-opened around an hour later.
