While Britain's Prince William meets with President Barack Obama at the Oval Office and discusses illegal wildlife trafficking at the World Bank, his wife, Kate, will be touring a child development center in New York City.

On Monday, the Duchess of Cambridge will visit a clinic that provides mental health services for impoverished children with the city's first lady, Chirlane McCray.

The royal couple arrived in New York on Sunday for their first official visit to the U.S. since a 2011 visit to California, and their first taste of the Big Apple. During their three-day trip, the two also will visit the National Sept. 11 Memorial and Museum, attend a basketball game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Cleveland Cavaliers, and appear at charitable events.

Kate is expecting their second child in April.
