A reward of up to $4,000 is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of a transgender woman murdered in Buffalo.
Tonya Harvey, 35, was shot and killed February 6th on Shepard Street. It was the first homicide of 2018 in Buffalo.

"The D.A.'s Office is also extremely concerned about a spike in homicides of transgender people across the country and will be, as part of this investigation, looking into whether or not this is a potential hate crime," Erie County District Attorney John Flynn said at the time of the murder.
