Reward offered for suspect in money order theft

Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in a theft at a 7-Eleven in the City of Tonawanda.

Police in Tonawanda report a money order was stolen from the store recently. It was dropped by an elderly woman, and officers say the money order was for her rent. Police released a surveillance image from the incident. It shows a man in a dark t-shirt and bright red shoes.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information on this incident can call Crimestoppers at (716) 867-6161. A reward of up to $1,000 has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect.
