Republican Presidential Candidate, Donald Trump appeared on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday morning to talk about the campaign, and what lies ahead in the race for the White House.

At one point, he even looked to the New York State primary and had a prediction for the viewers. “I’ll win states that republicans don't even think of and one of them that comes to mind is Michigan, and another one is New York, Trump said. “In upstate New York I’m like the most popular person that's ever lived, virtually. Upstate New York…they're great friends of mine. We will do very well in New York. I don't know, maybe win it, maybe not. But, we're going to do very well. We're going to come awfully close to winning it, and I think I have a great chance.”

A poll conducted by Siena College earlier this month shows Trump has an unfavorable rating upstate. According to the poll, Trump only had a 28% favorability rating.  The poll shows stronger support for Marco Rubio among Republicans in New York.
