A New York State trooper was seriously hurt after a crash in Steuben County Wednesday afternoon, according to our affiliate WHAM.
Reports say the crash happened around 4:45 p.m. on I-86 Westbound, near the Town of Campbell.
State Police report the trooper had pulled a vehicle over when he was hit by a pickup truck.
According to WHAM, the trooper’s injuries are serious. He has been airlifted to the University of Rochester Medical Center. The identity of the trooper has not yet been released.
