Get ready to grab your popcorn, silence your cell phones, and push the 'recline' button at the Walden Galleria.

The Regal Entertainment Group is replacing every single seat at the Regal Walden Galleria Stadium 16 in Cheektowaga with luxurious, king-sized recliners.

The chairs will include padded footrests and multiple recline positions.

The 16-screen theatre will remain open during the extensive remodeling process, which should be complete in October. Model recliners are now on display in the lobby.

At this time there are no plans to add recliners to Regal's other locations in Western New York.

The recliner feature has proven to be very popular with Regal's rival, the AMC movie chain. The plush chairs are credited with boosting attendance at the Maple Ridge 8 theatre in Amherst.  Dipson Theatres has also rolled out recliners at its Amherst Theatre on Main Street in Buffalo in addition to its movie houses at the McKinley Mall in Blasdell and the Chautauqua Mall in Lakewood.
