Buffalo Police arrested a man for reckless driving after he jumped a curve and drove down a sidewalk Sunday evening.
Police say Nickalaus Reed, 28, of West Seneca was driving near Military Avenue and Kenmore Avenue just after 5:00 p.m. when he swerved in and out of lanes.
According to officers, Reed swerved into lanes of oncoming traffic and then jumped the curve, traveling down the sidewalk until he almost hit a building in the 700 block of Military Avenue.
Officers tried pulling the vehicle over, but went two more blocks before stopping it at Tremaine Avenue in Kenmore.
Officers say they saw a hypodermic needle and other drug paraphernalia in the car.
Reed was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, obstructing governmental administration and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
