More than one hundred tires were slashed in Buffalo's historic Allentown neighborhood overnight Saturday.

Detectives say the damaged happening sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday evening and 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning. Vehicles in the areas of Allen Street, College Street, Mariner Street, and the side streets near Kleinhans Music Hall were the most heavily struck.

Police have been going door to door asking residents and businesses owners for any information or security video that might help aid police in their investigation.

The Allentown Association says there hasn't been a larger increase in crime in the area, calling this an isolated incident. Officials are confident the suspect will be caught.
