Parents, teachers ask board to keep Kaleida nurses
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Buffalo parents and teachers are worried about losing their registered nurses.
They are now calling on the school board to keep their partnership with Kaleida Health.
The nurses are on the chopping block at the board meeting next week.
Kaleida Health provides dozens of nurses to Buffalo Schools.
Parents say they are worried eliminating licensed nurses could put their children at risk.
A petition to keep Kaleida nurses in the schools now has more than 2,300 signatures.
