Jurek Farms in Clarence has been a holiday tradition for thousands of WNYers for many years.
The Christmas tree farm was founded by family patriarch Frank Jurek, Sr. in 1929 as a way to utilize land that he had purchased for future development. It subsequently became the destination to cut down their own Christmas trees for numerous generations as children grew and came back with their children, grandchildren and even the family dog in tow.
The annual ritual is rich in the spirit of the holiday season.
