The New York State Public Service Commission will give you the floor to discuss National Grid's proposed changes in electric and gas delivery rates in its upstate service territory.

The NYSPSC will hold a public statement hearing on August 1, 2017, at the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library Gallery Conference Room located on 1 Lafayette Square. There will be information sessions at 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. and hearings at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m., all on the same day.

On July 10th, National Grid proposed to increase its annual electric delivery revenues by $261 million and its gas delivery revenues by $70 million. If approved by the New York State Public Service Commission, the average residential customer would see a monthly bill increase of $8.93 on electric. While gas would present a monthly bill impact of $8.70. Both effective April 1, 2018.
