BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — If you bought a cake recently from Wegmans, you're going to want to hear about an important recall.
The Rochester-based grocery chain says it issued a product recall on Monday for three sizes of Wegmans Three-Layer Gingerbread Cakes:
- Large 38oz Cake 77890-43972
- Mini 11oz Cake 77890-43973
- 4 oz Slice 77890-45380
Wegmans says this recall is the result of egg not being listed on the allergen statement, even though egg is listed as an ingredient.
If you bought one of these cakes you're urged to return it to a service desk for a full refund.
