BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - President Trump's feud with the NFL over players protesting the national anthem has sparked up once again.
This time, it involves former Bills running back Marshawn Lynch.
During Sunday's game in Mexico City between the Oakland Raiders and the New England Patriots, Lynch sat during the American national anthem, but stood for the Mexican national anthem.
President Trump took to Twitter early Monday, slamming Lynch, writing in part, quote, "Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season."
This is just the latest instance of an athlete sitting out the national anthem to protest racial injustice in the United States.
