As Western New York braces for its first heavy snowfall of the season, preparations are underway across the area.
However, the lessons learned during past big snow events, like the "Snowvember Storm", continue to have a big impact in areas like the Town of Hamburg.
7 Eyewitness News Reporter Ed Reilly found out that one of the lessons learned is that the old ways of clearing snow might still be the best way of dealing with really deep snow.
