A mother duckling has a pregnant mom and her mother to thank for keeping her feathery family intact.
The women noticed a group of baby ducklings trapped inside a sewer Thursday afternoon at Leocrest and Nancycrest in the Fisher Court neighborhood of West Seneca. And the women wasted no time jumping into action.
While the pregnant mother kept watch over her own children in her car, her mother lifted the sewer grate out of the way and carefully lifted nine ducklings to safety.
The ducklings were reunited with their mother and three siblings nearby.
