The Elma community is rallying around the Matla family as 12-year-old Zach Matla is fighting to recover from critical injuries at Children's Hospital.
Zach was hurt in an ATV rollover accident around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday night off of Townline Road in Elma. The 6th grader was rushed to Children's Hospital where he remains in critical condition and on life support.
Friday night, the community and friends of the family will gather at 8:15 PM at the Elma Village Green off of Bowen Rd for a prayer vigil. The community is encouraged to come out and show support for the family as Zach fights to recover.
