Talks are now underway for a possible plea deal in a deadly Town of Evans case that was ready to go to trial.
The attorney for Gabriele Ballowe tells 7 Eyewitness News that he is now in discussions with the District Attorney on a proposed resolution of the case. Nothing has been finalized yet but it's expected the case will be settled without having to go to trial.
Ballowe is charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter in the 2013 death of Barry Moss, he was hit by a car and left along the roadway. Moss later died from his injuries.
